Ju Bin
Ju Bin is the founder of Horizontal Design and has since gained significant recognition for his architecture and design. Named one of China’s ten most important emerging designers in 2015, he was also GQ’s Designer of the Year in 2017 and has been frequently honored as the Most Influential Designer in China. In 2020, Tatler named him Cultural Figure of the Year.
His work has been widely published and exhibited at prestigious events, including the Venice Biennale, Milan Design Week, and the Shenzhen/Hong Kong Urbanism and Architecture Bi-City Biennale. Ju Bin serves as a graduate advisor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts, and the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and was a visiting critic at the Politecnico di Milano in 2020. He is also the founder and council member of the C-Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting design education.
Ju Bin’s design philosophy is deeply rooted in Chinese culture, focusing on the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. His approach revitalizes traditional Chinese elements through innovative visual communication, creating a fresh perspective on architectural space improvement.
High-End AF Technology: Resistant to Dirt and Easy to Clear
The surface of the Clear Shadow Series is coated with a vacuum-plated AF layer. Water droplets on the surface form the shape of dewdrops on a lotus leaf. Dust and dirt are less likely to adhere, and any stains on the surface can be easily wiped off.
